The staff were exceptional and hospitable and our room was welcoming with the tub and the bathroom and a decent breakfast. The location of the hotel was central, next to Cullman and many restaurants.
Some people working there were a bit rude.

The t.v.
The holes in the wall. The grass and hair in the tub. The molded and rusted mini fridge. The completely out dated microwave. The pillows had make up on them. There was an exposed outlet by the sink. It had no cover on it. There was stains on the toilet. Also they only left me USED shampoo. I could tell because it was half empty.

I liked the staff very friendly and the beds wasn't bad at all.
They could have left clean towels when they picked up the dirty ones

The breakfast was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal and coffee that actually tasted good unlike other places.
This place wasn't cheap, but you know what, it was acceptable

easy access to parks and local landmarks for explorers
I really appreciated how close the hotel was to the cullman wellness and aquatics center. The beautiful sportsman lake park is just a short walk away for enjoying some scenic views in nature. The comfortable and clean standard king room added to my enjoyable stay as a solo traveler. But the check-in staff could have been more informative about breakfast options.

Rooms appeared clean and staff were nice.Good location, big pool.
My daughters complained of being stung or bitten by something while laying in their bed for bedtime. They ended up sleeping on the floor. They actually had spots on their legs and arms from an apparent sting or bite. This was disturbing.

Ice machine on ground floor not working. Persons with disabilities were forced to use ice machine upstairs. Some were unable so had to do without. Staff was informed but offered no assistance or solution. Lack of concern was obvious.

I stayed for one night, and the price was unbeatable for a clean room and decent bed. The breakfast selection was okay, but I expected more options. I was surprised at how firm the beds were, but overall a good deal!

Convenient location. Room was decent for the price. Enjoyed the pool.
There were plumbing issues. The bath tub and sink took a long time for the water to go down the drain. We were there for a ball tournament and after a long hot day, all four of us needed showers. Kind of gross having to stand in others dirty water while taking a shower. Called while at the tournament on Saturday to report the issue and asked that they fix it, but they did not, so we had to just deal with it again on Saturday night.
